Is SmackDown vs Raw 2009 Good?

Smackdown vs. Raw 2009 just came out a few days before this post was written and WWE fans were very anxious for this game.

A review from my son stated, "Everything I wished this game had two versions ago is in it. It's like they read my mind!" He has been glued to it and tickled pink for the last 24 hours!

My son has been playing the 2006 edition for 1.5 years on his PSP and hasn't grown remotely tired of it so the new edition was a great investment. We bought the new version for $39.99 and it got shipped before the release date of November 9, 2008. This game is going to get a lot of great use and we're probably going to buy a WII edition as well. We have last year's Smackdown vs Raw 2008 for the WII and the kids love it!

Here's a few things my 12 year old had to say about it:

"The features:
-road to wrestle mania is awesome ,
-the create a finisher rocks ,
-the new entrance set up is crazy ,a
-and the way you gain tiles is wow!!!"

Watches: A Man’s Jewelry

Watches do more than tell the time, they are fashionable as well. Would the GQ man be as dapper standing there staring at a freckle on his wrist as he is with his fashionable Rolex? Probably not. Can you have too many watches? Not likely.

There’s a long history of timekeeping and watches being worn date back to the 1500’s and they are a long way today away from the original design. Where watches were first quite primitive, today you can even get your hands on a GPS watch. One thing hasn’t changed in many generations; watches are a loved piece of functional jewelry by men and women.

Watches can be inexpensive and they can also be very lavish depending on the brand you wear. In terms of special times in a man’s life, a watch is a nice gift. He might get many watches in his lifetime such as a gold watch upon his day of retirement, an expensive watch as an anniversary gift, a pocket watch for Christmas... a timepiece has definitely become the definitive male jewelry.

Men don’t often wear a lot of jewelry but a watch can be a bit of a status symbol as well as be functional for him. Today there are great options in terms of digital versus analog watches and in terms of styles; there are diving watches, ones with compasses as well as wristwatches that cover more than one time zone. You can also have your pick of bands including leather, gold, silver, and titanium and stretchable bands as well. It won’t be long before watches are as high tech as the ones James Bond or Maxwell Smart wear. As a matter of fact, some of today’s watches (such as ones with global positioning systems built-in) are higher tech than science fiction writers could’ve dreamt. For fitness buffs watches have timers and pulse monitors and can even help you track your calories burnt during exercise and for the international business man, his watch can help with multiple time zones.

For women, a watch is a nicety that isn’t to be ignored either and many women own several timekeeping devices. A wristwatch can be stylish and classy. It can be business like or it can be an item of jewelry and look like a bracelet plus have swappable faces as well as gems inside the face or on the band. A watch can also be worn on a pendant as well as a locket ring. Many women have numerous watches and many men are starting to collect watches the way some women collect shoes.

If you’re looking for a gift for yourself or for someone you love, a unique watch is something you cannot go amiss with. Many people choose to have a handful of different styles of watches to go with outfits or to be worn for business, for play and for special events.
